I worked my first shift last night as an actual Medical Transcriptionist! I think I got the worst possible dictator I could have for my first job. He was foreign, which makes him hard to understand. He also talked so fast that even when I slowed down the dictation as much as I could he was still talking to fast. And to top it all off he was a mumbler. What a way to start! Things can hopefully only get better.
I did get to see the report after it had been reviewed and there were still a few blanks that even the Quality Assurance department couldn't figure out. Let's hope tonight goes a bit better.

Foreign doctors....I hate them!
When QA can't figure it out, you know you're not crazy! Good thing to know lol.
