Goings On

I don't have anything exciting to report. We are still waiting for our new bedroom furniture. It should be here sometime this week. :)

Tyler has started Sunbeams and is struggling. Every time I peak at him in class he isn't sitting on his chair and behaving. We keep reminding him at home that he needs to sit on his chair and be good, but so far it isn't working well. Hopefully he'll start to get used to it soon. We are still doing speech every Tuesday and Tyler loves being able to go to his own "school." Unfortunately we didn't make it today because he and Owen are both throwing up. Tyler made it to the toilet by himself last night, which was nice. I was up cleaning up barf from Owen about 6 times last night. Now they are both just hanging out on the couch watching TV with their buckets next to them.

Emily got her mid year report card last week. The little stinker is smart, but is doing worse at not talking and listening when she is supposed to. We've been talking to her too about the right way to act at school...hopefully her next report card will be better. If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them. She is just so social that she always wants to be talking to her friends. Her teacher is happy though that she is nice to everyone and doesn't ever leave anyone out. That is certainly nice to hear. She also was finally brave enough to get her ears pierced. Luckily we were smart enough to have them do both ears at the same time; otherwise, I don't think she would have been willing to let us do the other one. The picture is obviously not in the right spot, but oh well. We let her pick what she wanted and she chose little pink flowers. I thought I'd taken a better picture, but I guess not.

I'm still working as a Medical Transcriptionist and loving it. I am so grateful that I'm able to have a job at home. I'm trying to get in shape for the new year. I got my Wii Balance board for Christmas and I use it on a regular basis and I'm finally starting to use the exercise bike I got 2 years ago.

Kevin is still working as a service plumber and he just keeps getting better at it. He enjoys doing it and is happy to have started it so that he doesn't have to work as physically hard as he used to. We are starting to hit the slow time of the year for the next couple of months, so we'll hopefully get to see him at home more often.

Emily looks beautiful! Sorry the boys are sick, hang in there with the reverence/acceptable behavior. I'm glad you and Kevin are enjoying your work.
