Tyler's 4th B-day

Yesterday was Tyler man's 4th birthday! He blew out all the candles by himself.

He wanted the exact same cake that Owen got for his birthday. It was quite the task to find though. I had to go to 4 grocery stores before I found one that had the toys in stock. I'm glad we did though, it wouldn't have been pretty if he didn't get his McQueen cake.

He got a few packs of train tracks to go with the train sets he already had. Now with dad's help, he can build giant tracks like this one.

Making a huge mess. I need to get a picture of the kids with everything all at once after they've opened their presents, but I forgoet.

Getting started...

Today was his 4 year check up at the doctor. He is average height and weight for his age. The doctor said he was hoping to see him be a little bit taller since Kevin and I are tall, but not much I can do about that. Apparently they give kids their kindergarten shots at 4 now. He had 4 shots and did not do very well with them. He sat still on my lap while they did them as quickly as possible, but he was screaming and crying. Owen is my only one that doesn't freak out over shots. He is happy to know that he doesn't need anymore shots until he is 11 (besides flu); he didn't really understand what that meant, but was happy to know that it will be a long time before he gets another one.
