Ramblings...

I went to our ward's playgroup yesterday at the park in town and just like our last ward, there was no one there. There were plenty of people there, just no one from our ward. I, of course, will continue to go because it's the only way I drag myself and the kids out of the house. It will be interesting to see if anyone ever shows up.

I wish I would have had my camera. At the park there is a little pavillion with a stage and Emily was just singing and dancing her little heart out while Owen, Tyler, and I watched. It was cute. I really need to find a dance class to stick her in.

Our bathroom isn't really getting anywhere right now. Yesterday at work Kevin accidentally shoved a screwdriver under his thumb and it looks like the nail is going to eventually fall off. He came home and repaired it with a Spongebob bandaid. He'll probably be taking a few more days off to let it heal some more. He is very manly except when it comes to seeing his own blood and whatnot. He kept getting light headed when he would clean his finger and replace the bandaid.

That is all that has been going on with our little family. Catherine is so good at updating her blog everyday...I'm not that clever or that exciting and can not think of things to put up everyday.

OUCH!!!! I'm not an everyday poster either. Lifes too crazy, and yet rather boring at the same time.

See the funny thing is...when I lived in UT, our play groups were like that too. In the summer, they would get started up and people would sometimes come. But here, play groups totally stop in the summer and go all winter long. Kinda funny, but a bunch of people show up here, unlike our wards in UT. The play group here is just about to wrap up for the summer cuz it's starting to get too hot. But it sure is nice to go to the park in Jan, and not need a jacket! :) I always make myself go to them too, it's just about the only adult interaction I get during the week! :)

I got a shout out! Awesome. I'm one of those moms that doesn't go to play group. I'm not awesome like Ashley. I can't handle two toddlers at once in a non-confined area. Speaking of going to the park, Melissa said that after Sonic we should go to that little park because that's what we always did. She said we should also invite Shannon. Who else do you want to come? Melissa says Jason H. is back in Lincoln.
