Thank you Whitney for the inspiration for this post. We started our lovely tomatoes about mid February and they are growing like crazy. I have to rotate them every day so they don't continue to grow in one direction. I need to transplant them into bigger containers soon and then in a few weeks we'll try sticking them in the ground. Hopefully they will work this year. Last year we shocked them too quickly and had to go buy starts from the nursery. We have 3 different kinds too--roma, some slicing tomatoes and canning tomatoes. I am so excited to get our garden started. Fresh veggies are so good.Wednesday, April 8, 2009
Tomatoes!

I want to grow tomatoes!!! I'm worried the squirrels on the golf course will eat them...
