Um

I haven't posted in a while and people are starting to get angry. I was hoping to have a fun picture of something to post, but alas there is none.

We haven't had anything super exciting happening (as usual) so I don't know what to say. We planted our corn this week and a few days later we planted all of our tomato plants. We don't think the ones we started from seed are going to make it. Hopefully some day we'll figure out how to get our seedlings as big as the ones we buy from the store. After we planted them it has just been raining and cloudly. It isn't getting anywhere near freezing at night so I'm hoping they will survive, but the poor guys could really use some sun to perk them up. We still have to plant the rest of our garden and we are hoping that will happen this week. Kevin has been so busy at work he hasn't been getting home before 8pm. He says he is pooped and won't be doing that again this week, so hopefully we can get everything else planted. We are hoping for another successful year. :)

Emily is the same as ever...non stop talking and asking questions. I really wonder how she is going to do in school. Maybe that will be what finally teaches her to be quiet for a few minutes at a time. She is patiently waiting for fall to come, but asks very often if summer is almost over so she can go to school. Life will be very different once she starts going to school. It will be very weird to not have all 3 kids at home all day long.

Tyler has 2 more weeks of speech therapy until they are through for the summer. They do offer a summer course that is 6 weeks long, but he did not qualify for it, which I was actually pretty shocked about, but I guess it is good that they think he is improving. He certainly says more words than he used to, but whether they are more intelligible is up for debate.

Owen has started to go to his own nursery class now that he is 18 months and I miss him. He isn't a huge fan of it either. He cries longer than any of the other kids ever did and never seems to calm down all the way. His first week he ended up sleeping the whole time and this last week was an improvement, but he still needs some time. He is learning new words and its fun to watch another one learn how to talk. He very clearly says mom, no mommy or ma and he is very good at his Please and Thank you.

I am still working my 20 hours per week and I'm really starting to like it. I struggled a lot at first, but things have gotten easier and I really enjoy it. Kevin is really enjoying his job. He likes the challenge of having to try and sell to people and luckily he is good at it. He says now that he is 30 he doesn't plan on ever going back to new construction. I'd like to post a picture of him in his uniform, but he won't allow it. That is the one part of his job he isn't in love with, but he puts up with it.

Did anyone even sit through and read all that? I will be very proud.

I totally read it all, and you need to somehow get a pic of Kevin in his uniform!! That would be great!! :)
I love having Brayden in Kindergarten. I go on Wed. to register him for first grade. I love having him in school. I don't mean that to sound like I hate my kid or anything, it's just so good for him to have something to do everyday and to be able to interact with someone other then just me and Conner. I do worry about him being gone all day, I'm sure I'll miss him. I hope Conner doesn't get too lonely without him all day.

We have this saying with Ella that comes from Shrek.

Cast(about donkey): "He can talk, he can talk, he can talk'

Shrek: "Yeah-it's getting him to shut up that's the problem." That sums up our Ella and your Emily it sounds like :-).
