We took Owen to get a haircut earlier today because as you can see from the previous pictures it was getting pretty out of control. He was a good sport and sat still for most of the time.
This picture doesn't show it well, but Emily decided that she wanted a haircut too. She gave herself some very short layers in the front. We could have just gone with that and left her hair long, but what kind of lesson does that teach? So, we chopped most of her hair off right in time for picture day this Friday.
I hate the bangs, but we'll have to deal with them the best we can until they grow out. I've always wondered if I'd like her with bangs and now I know that I don't...so I don't have to make the mistake of ever giving her bangs again, that is until she is old enough to pay for her own haircuts and then she can cuts bangs if she wants to.
