The title makes this post sound more ominous than it really is...
We aren't sure when we'll be buying a "big bed" for Owen so Kevin decided to take down the front part of the crib to help him feel more like a big boy. As he is our only "bouncer" we were worried that he would fall out and get hurt, hence the pillows. lol
He slept in his new bed last night and today during naps. When he is done sleeping he gets out of bed by himself and comes out of his room and even closes the door again as he leaves. He thinks it is the coolest thing ever. So far he has even stayed in bed and not played with his toys instead.

man, I love that little guy and his intense hatred of singing.
It took us a while to get a big bed for Conner, so we just put the front part of the crib down and he climbed in and out of it on his own. It works just as good as a real "big boy" bed, and they think it is cool! Impressive that he stayed in his bed so well the first time!!
Shelby, please explain your comment. Btw., I'm still a bouncer and I don't fall out of my bed. Dave really appreciates my bouncing.
If anyone tries to sing...Owen gets upset and yells STOP at the top of his lungs. It's weird.
