Emily got her first report card today. And the results are just what I was expecting. lol
It is divided into different sections depending on different activities they do in class. They are:
At the Rug
At the Table
On the Playground
Academically
Obeys the Class rules
Under each category there are different things listed like:
Listens quietly
Raises hand to speak
Independent
Works quietly
Cleans up when finished
Follows directions
Is Cooperative
Keeps hands to herself
Just as I thought, she does just fine and gets "almost always" in most of the categories except the ones that involve her being quiet and raising her hand. In those areas she gets "sometimes"
Academically she seems to be doing well. She "seldom" colors neatly, which is just laziness on her part, because she can stay between the lines just fine. She "sometimes" cuts on the lines, which is partly her age and partly because she never touched a pair of scissors until she started school. She can count to 40. Recognize 24 capital letters, 25 lowercase letters and 23 letters by sound.
So, like I said...it is basically what I was expecting. It looks like we'll have to have a talk and constantly remind her that she needs to remember to be quiet in class and make sure she doesn't interrupt and raise her hand if she wants to talk.
