Young Emily and something gross...

I was going through my old email folders a while back and found all these pictures that my parents sent me from when Emily was little.  I completely forgot that I had them.  I was so excited!  Look how cute she was.  This is at about 1 month old when I went and visited my family for a week while on maternity leave.

Ignore the greasy hair...lol
Here she is at about a year old.  Her hair changed color! And my how digital cameras have improved. lol
I can't get this one changed to the right direction.  We tried a new restaurant in town recently because it said it was a BBQ place.  It turned out to be Polynesian BBQ.  I tried their platter that came with all sorts of weird things I had never heard of.  This was their banana pudding.  I don't remember how the lady said they made it, but it was not appetizing to look at.  I was brave enough to try it though and it was tasty.  I just had to not look at it every time I took a bite. lol  I couldn't get anyone else to try it.

Oh yeah, and I also remember the weird looks people would give me when I would take her and Brayden somewhere since they were only 1 year apart in age... people were like. "WOW!! You sure have your hands full" and gave a weird look like "don't you know what birth control is??? HAHA!!! That always made me laugh. It was just easier to let them think that then to explain I was just babysitting her!

I was in the RS for almost 2 years, president for the last 14 months. With Travis now it the branch presidency it was time for a break for me. Otherwise, us and our 5 kids had to be to all the same branch and stake meetings plus all welfare-too much!
