Hadn't realized...

I hadn't realized that it had been so long since I posted last.  I guess we've been caught up in buying things for the camper.  It's amazing how much more stuff you need to still go and buy before you can even use the camper.  Along with buying the camper we got a gift certificate for 25 free nights at campgrounds all around the country.  The closest to us is in St. George, so we are hoping to take advantage of that and use it sometime this summer.  I was hoping we'd be able to go to others, but there aren't any others in places we want to go...oh well.  We have already tested the camper out in the backyard and had to go to Ikea to buy a foam mattress to put underneath our side.  I only made it about 3 hours in the camper and they were 3 very painful hours.  I didn't feel like I had slept at all and my legs started to go numb from the mattress being so crappy.  It didn't bother Kevin or the kids at all.  Now that we have the Ikea mattress in there too it is almost more comfortable than our bed in the house. hehe

I can't believe that school is coming to an end for Emily.  She has had a fun year in kindergarten, but seems ready to move on to 1st grade.  Tomorrow they are changing the time of kindergarten so that the kids can walk to the park and have lunch at school.  She is so excited to use the lunchbox she got from Grandma this year.  That is also what she is most looking forward to in 1st grade...how long until she starts complaining about having to eat soggy sandwiches at lunchtime?

Tyler only has a few more weeks of speech left for this year as well.  It is amazing how much better he is doing.  He still can't say his R's and L's, but that is it.  I'm wondering if he'll even qualify to be able to go next year since he has made such a huge improvement.  I guess we'll see in a few weeks on the last day of class.

Owen has managed to not fall down the stairs lately and is so proud of himself for it.  He gets so excited whenever he does something by himself.  It is the cutest thing ever.  None of my other kids were ever that excited when they accomplished things on their own.  Sorry that I don't have pictures of anything, but there just hasn't been any picture worthy events going on I guess.

Brayden still loves to take his lunch to school... and sometimes even buying hot lunch!
